Wimbledon Tennis Championships

Student trips to Wimbledon

As the world’s oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament, a visit to The Championships at Wimbledon is a ‘bucket list’ experience for most sports fans.

Home to one of the world’s four Grand Slam tournaments, a school trip to Wimbledon is ideal for a well-earned summer treat for your students.

You'll also get an expert Study Experiences Tour Manager to support you at every stage – from departing on your trip to the journey home.

When is Wimbledon?

Wimbledon 2020 takes place in London, from Monday 29th June to Sunday 12th July.

With tickets available up to Saturday 11th July, our tennis trips are perfectly timed for a bit of post-exams fun, or to help next year’s GCSE P.E. students get excited for their future studies.

Spaces are limited. So contact us now on to secure your Wimbledon school trip and avoid disappointment.

Things to do at Wimbledon

At Study Experiences, our Wimbledon tours always include a Ground Pass. This gives you access to all of the outside courts, food outlets, shops, and most importantly Henman Hill.

Your students will be able to grab a traditional bowl of strawberries and cream, soak up the leisurely atmosphere, and watch the Centre Court matches on the giant outdoor screen.

We also offer Wimbledon ticket packages, with Wimbledon school tickets available for either No.1 Court (which now has its own retractable roof), No. 2 Court, or No. 3 Court.

These packages will reserve your seat at the specified court for an entire day, which gives you plenty of time to see a scorching match between some of the world’s best tennis players.

After that, why not carry on the fun with a two or three day tour of London’s other attractions? Your Tour Manager will arrange for a guided tour around London on board your coach, or you can choose from a great range of free galleries and museums including the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, V&A and Tate Modern. Another great choice to add to your stay is a trip to Harry Potter Studio Tour.
