Things to do at Wimbledon

At Study Experiences, our Wimbledon tours always include a Ground Pass. This gives you access to all of the outside courts, food outlets, shops, and most importantly Henman Hill.

Your students will be able to grab a traditional bowl of strawberries and cream, soak up the leisurely atmosphere, and watch the Centre Court matches on the giant outdoor screen.

We also offer Wimbledon ticket packages, with Wimbledon school tickets available for either No.1 Court (which now has its own retractable roof), No. 2 Court, or No. 3 Court.

These packages will reserve your seat at the specified court for an entire day, which gives you plenty of time to see a scorching match between some of the world’s best tennis players.

After that, why not carry on the fun with a two or three day tour of London’s other attractions? School trips to Harry Potter Studio Tour, the London Eye, or M&M World make for fantastic enrichment opportunities. Or you can give your summer treat an educational edge with a school visit to the Science Museum or Tate Modern.

01 Sample Itineraries

Day 1

Depart school or college early in the morning and then taken to Wimbledon, for a planned late morning arrival.

Play normally commences at around 1pm or 2pm on No.1 Court, and generally a little earlier on No.2 and No.3 Courts and the outside courts. The Championships' scheduling and how the weather has been during the previous days will determine exactly which matches are played on each court.

At the close of play, which can be at any time between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, dependent on the number and length of the matches to be played, we will transfer you to your overnight accommodation. We recommend that you have an early dinner at Wimbledon, prior to departing for your hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will head in to central London. We will start the day with our included sightseeing tour, that will take in many of the city's world renowned sights, including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral. The remainder of the morning and early afternoon are then free for you to do as you wish.
