Religious Education Experiences in London

London is a great destination for religious education students, offering a wide range of highly enjoyable education visits, excursions and activities, within easy reach of your school or college. We offer students the opportunity to experience its multi-cultural environment, discover different faiths and take part in fascinating interactive workshops.

01 Tour Highlights

London is home to the UK's most renowned galleries and museums; great sporting venues, the renowned West End theatres and a vast array of world famous sights and attractions. You and your students will have the chance to visit them as well as key religious sites and to take part in specialist educational programmes, which will all provide new experiences that will stimulate and inspire them, such as:

St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's is the cathedral of the Diocese of London. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, St Paul's has marked many royal occasions and has also been the site of state funerals of British military leaders, including Admiral Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington and Sir Winston Churchill. A range of themed visits and workshop programmes can be arranged.

East London Mosque

The East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre is in the heart of Tower Hamlets, a diverse borough with a rich history and home to the UK's largest Muslim community. It has one of the youngest congregations in the UK, and actively promotes young people engaging in programmes of learning and recreation.

Sri Guru Singh Sabha Temple

The largest Sikh temple outside India is at the heart of the Sikh community in Britain. The temple can accommodate up to 3000 worshippers in the first-floor prayer hall and second-floor gallery.

The Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum is an amazing resource for schools groups with programmes designed to build interfaith understanding and promote tolerance, celebrate culture and appreciate what we have in common.
