London is home to the UK's most renowned museums, great sporting venues - Wembley Stadium, Twickenham, Wimbledon, Lord's - the renowned West End theatres and a vast array of world famous sights and attractions. You and your students will have the chance to visit a wide number of them and take part in specialist educational programmes, which will all provide new experiences that will stimulate and inspire them, such as:

Tate Modern

Through gallery tours, free workshops and lively talks led by artists and gallery educators, students can explore their own responses to art works and increase their understanding of British and international art.

Bank of England Museum

The museum offers a presentation with Q&A on the role and functions of the Bank of England at the centre of the UK's financial system, how it sets interest rates to control inflation, issues banknotes and works to maintain a stable financial system.

Science Museum

The Science Museum is committed to bringing science to life, and life to science, offering students the opportunity to see and experience the history, technology and scientific phenomena that they are learning at school. Support your visit with their downloadable resource materials.

HMS Belfast

Serving Britain for 32 years, she played an important role in both the Second World War and the Korean War as well as performing peacekeeping duties throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
