02 Tour Highlights

London is home to the UK's most renowned galleries and museums; great sporting venues - Wembley Stadium, Twickenham, Wimbledon, Lord's - the renowned West End theatres and a vast array of world famous sights and attractions. You and your students will have the chance to visit a wide number of them and take part in specialist educational programmes, which will all provide new experiences that will stimulate and inspire them, such as:

Tate Modern

Through gallery tours, free workshops and lively talks led by artists and gallery educators, students can explore their own responses to art works and increase their understanding of British and international art.

Victoria and Albert Museum

The V&A houses an astonishing collection of decorative art and design; its holdings of ceramics, costumes, jewellery, sculpture, prints and photographs are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world.

National Gallery

Its collection includes works by Da Vinci, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and Rembrandt. The gallery's floors and wings are arranged chronologically, which will assist your students in tracking artistic progression from the Renaissance onwards.

Design Museum Workshop

The museum's Product Evaluation Workshops offer a one hour hands on session, combining observation, product handling, drawing, discussion and problem-solving.
