About this trip

Study Experience Disneyland® Paris school trips combine the magic of the parks, resort, and Disney village with immersive seminars to create an unforgettable, educational visit. Students on our health and social care school trips will love using the joy of the parks to develop their social studies and child care knowledge.

If you’re looking for a magical trip to inspire and engage your students, Disneyland® Paris offers the ideal location for students of all kinds of subjects. Home to countless roller coasters and rides, all sat alongside the iconic Disney castle, this fantastic theme park also offers students the chance to enhance their learning experience through a series of eye-opening seminars and workshops.

As a preferred partner of Disneyland® Paris, Study Experiences can arrange subject-specific trips to support your student’s education. For students studying the world of Health & Social Care at GCSE, A Level, SQA and BTEC, the Study Experiences Health & Social Care/Child Care programme at Disneyland® Paris will expand their knowledge through a series of seminars and workshops, covering key topics and themes.

Learning objectives

Study Experiences covers key material from the most popular Health & Social Care/Child Care examination specifications. The of our Disneyland® Paris health and social care trips is to bring classroom teaching alive through an exploration of the related working practices at the parks. Each topic is reflected in the seminar, workshop and student assignments. No other educational travel specialist has the knowledge or backstage access to provide this vital learning dimension.

Whilst on your school trip to Disneyland® Paris, your itinerary will include a curriculum-led seminar, an interactive workshop, subject-specific assignments, as well as entry to the resort's parks for well deserved fun.

• Taking part in our interactive workshop which encourages the students to use their knowledge of Health & Social Care principles and practices
• Completing subject-specific assignments during their time in the Parks and at the Resort

  • Pearson centred values
  • The effects of theme park attractions on the body
  • First aid – responding to incidents

Health and Well-being

  • Diet and nutrition – a healthy balance
  • Food safety
  • Personal hygiene
  • Well-being

Working with Children

  • Child development and communication
  • Learning through play
  • Creativity and interactivity
  • The opportunity for physical activity and movement skills

Workshop - Meeting Individual Needs

The workshop gives students the opportunity to put some of what they have experienced in the Seminar and during their time in the Resort into practice. Divided into teams of 8 and guided by our experienced facilitators, their task is to design a new attraction for Disneyland® Paris. It could be a ride, show, restaurant, sensory garden or even a whole new land to create a fairy tale world.

Teams will need to ensure their design is relevant to Disneyland® Paris and respects the Disney brand. They will also need to ensure it is safe, accessible, and empowers each Disney guest – whatever their needs. At the end of the workshop, the teams will give a 3-minute presentation of their design to the facilitators, teachers and the rest of the audience. They will need to be prepared to receive feedback.
