Passports and Visas
For teachers wishing to arrange an overseas tour for their students, ensuring that every member of the group has accurate and valid documentation both to enter the destination country and then to return to the UK is essential.
Invalid passports, names on passports that do not match airline tickets, the lack of a visa for a non-UK passport holder and other documentation problems can have serious consequences for the smooth running of your tour arrangements. Ensuring you avoid problems with passport and visa documentation is not difficult but does require you to be methodical in your approach.
Should you have any specific concerns, we strongly recommend that you consult with the UK Passport Office and/or the appropriate destination embassy. To visit the useful passport website 'Gov.UK Website - Passport Information'.
