Lively and cosmopolitan, Lille offers a great introduction to France. Its elegant medieval centre has been revitalised and the city is teaming with cafes, restaurants, designer boutiques and museums, including Palais des Beaux Arts - France's second largest art museum after the Louvre.

It is also a city that fully embraces the Christmas spirit! The Christmas Market is traditionally held at Place Rihour, which is adorned with decorations, colourful lights and market stalls. In the main square, a huge Ferris wheel is erected, which will offer students a great view of the city and its Christmas illuminatons.
