'The Roller Coaster Experience'
at Disneyland® Paris

For Engineering 14-19 Diploma students.

Students will attend three subject specific education sessions hosted by Study Experiences and will take part in assignment work that will help develop their knowledge and understanding of engineering.

Study Experiences has been given the exclusive opportunity of meeting, filming and spending considerable amounts of time behind the scenes with senior managers at Disneyland Paris. The education sessions will include specially prepared video footage and live interviews with senior managers and many of the experts who create and deliver the Disneyland Resort Paris experience.

During the three sessions, we will cover key learning points:

- Roller coaster design and maintenance

- Analysing stress

- Designing with CAD/CAM

- Materials and components

- Systems and control technology

- Construction and surface finishes

- Aesthetics, ergonomics and safety

- Plants, water and landscaping

- Sustainability issues and conservation impacts

- Signage, promotion and security

- Careers in STEM subjects
