Study Experience

For AS/A Level and GCSE Performing Arts, Music and Dance students                  

Students will attend three subject specific education sessions hosted by Study Experiences and will take part in assignment work that will help develop their knowledge and understanding of the performing arts.

Study Experiences has been given the exclusive opportunity of meeting, filming and spending considerable amounts of time behind the scenes with senior managers at Disneyland Paris. The education sessions will include specially prepared video clips and live interviews with senior managers and many of the experts who create and deliver the Disneyland Paris experience.

During the three education sessions, we will cover key learning points:

- The history of Walt Disney

- Film, theatre and performance techniques

- Application of technology

- Synergy between theme parks and films

- Costuming and stage management

- Set, special effects and float design

- From page to stage, script development

- Designing a new parade

- Audio animatronics

- Costume design

- Music development at Disney
