Visiting Europe's Christmas Markets provides the ideal opportunity for your students to practice their language skills in a friendly and enjoyable environment.

The Rhine Valley is amongst the best known regions of Germany and is a great favourite with student groups. This delightful area, with Cologne at its heart, boasts enchanting castles, picturesque villages, medieval towns and vineyards that rise steeply on either side of the river itself.

The Rhineland capital boasts the best Christmas Markets in Europe. There are actually four Christmas Markets in the city - in the Cathdedral Square, at the Old Market, at the New Market and in Rudolfplatz. The magnificent Dom Cathderal, which has been restored to its former glory after extensive damage during WWII, provides a wonderful backdrop for the largest market in the city centre.
